From M1

  • Exit M1 southbound at Junction 19 and take A14 eastbound signed Felixstowe, Corby & Kettering.
  • Follow A14 for 45miles and, 2miles after crossing A1, turn right on overhead roundabout signed A14 Felixstowe, Harwich & Cambridge.
  • Follow A14 south for 14miles to M11; continue south on M11.
  • Exit M11 at Junction 10 and turn left onto A505 Saffron Walden, Duxford & Haverhill [do not go further south on M11 - no exit at Junction 9].
  • In 1mile turn right at roundabout (with BP garage) onto A1301 Saffron Walden, and follow for 2miles to four consequetive roundabouts, going straight over first three and passing under A11.
  • At fourth roundabout, take third exit Newport B1383.
  • Follow B1383 for 0.5miles into Great Chesterford and past the Crown House Hotel on left. Turn right on the broad LH bend 300m after the hotel (turning signed to Ickleton).
  • Plextek is the large, red-brick building on the corner of this junction and the entrance is 50m on right.

From A1(M)

  • Leave A1(M) southbound at Junction 14 signed A14 London (E), Huntingdon & Cambridge and follow for 16miles to/onto M11 southbound.
  • Exit the M11 at junction 10 and turn left onto A505 signed Saffron Walden, Duxford & Haverhill [do not go further south on M11 - no exit at Junction 9].
  • In 1mile turn right at roundabout (with BP garage) onto A1301 Saffron Walden, and follow for 2miles to four consequetive roundabouts, going straight over first three and passing under A11.

  • Within 1mile take first exit signed Cambridge A1301, Saffron Walden (B184)

  • Go straight over the second roundabout.
  • At the third roundabout take 3rd exit Newport B1383

  • On leaving airport follow signs for M11(N) Cambridge and join the M11 northbound.
  • In 15miles leave M11 at Junction 9 signed A11 Newmarket, Norwich.
  • Within 1mile take first exit signed Cambridge A1301, Saffron Walden (B184)
  • Enter the first of three roundabouts and take 3rd exit, Saffron Walden A1301.
  • Go straight over the second roundabout.

  • Cross the M11 at Duxford [do not go south on M11 - no exit at Junction 9].
