Responsibilities

  • Incoming Quality Control – inspection of incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality standards, including verification of correct versions and traceability.
  • Monitoring adherence to manufacturing quality processes and identifying any deviations.
  • Ensuring configuration control compliance by verifying that the correct parts are built, with full traceability to permits and concessions.
  • Final inspection of outgoing products, ensuring accuracy of all associated documentation prior to release.
  • Management, tracking and recording of concession requests, ensuring appropriate documentation and control.
  • Inspection and processing of incoming returns items, including documentation, assessment, and control of rework activities.
  • Application of the non-conformance process, ensuring all non-conformances are correctly captured, recorded, and tracked throughout manufacturing.
  • Help ensure stock is correctly managed, controlled, and assigned to the appropriate product builds.
  • Supporting process development through review and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

The Person

  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment for complex electronic assemblies.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and configuration-controlled environments
  • High attention to detail with a methodical and structured approach to work.
  • Ability to interpret and apply procedures, specifications, and quality requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to support root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
  • A proactive, flexible attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
