Data Exploitation

Raw data is a resource that must be exploited if it is to realise its full value. By itself, raw data is unlikely to lead to improved decision-making or development. Operating across industries, which include defence, wireless networks, IoT and business analytics, our Data Exploitation Group works to capture and manage data flow and condense increasing volumes of data into actionable intelligence and knowledge.

Using either traditional relational databases, or taking advantage of scalable cloud-based NoSQL solutions, our team deploys advanced machine learning to infer relationships buried within the data. Using both unsupervised and supervised learning, we are able to uncover hidden insights, enable classification of new data and facilitate the development of predictive models based on regression.

As an integral part of the data exploitation process, we believe that both the simplification of information and data visualisation hold the key to providing our clients with the most actionable insight. As a result, we work hard to provide modern graphical user interfaces for a range of devices, which aid understanding and enable our clients to maximise the impact of our analysis.

The ultimate intent of these technologies is to progress from simple reporting “What has happened?” to accurate prediction “What will happen?”.
