Signal processing is a crucial part of every product’s capabilities. In a radio receiver, the antenna’s design determines how signals are received, how much signal energy is captured and how much interference energy is rejected. The analogue signal chain mirrors this selection process and in most conventional systems an Analog to Digital Converter translates the signal into the world of bits for further processing. In the digital domain our team uses desktop PCs, dedicated signal processing engines and FPGAs. In many cases a design will start on one platform and migrate to another.

We appreciate that every design is a compromise between resources, functionality, performance, development costs and production costs. We know that there is no such thing as a perfect signal processing chain, but by collaborating closely and decisively on projects, we’re able to provide real value to our clients and significantly contribute to the overall success of their product.
